Cabinet Genies' sales process begins with an initial consultation to understand the customer's needs. Following that, precise measurements are taken to ensure accurate dimensions for the cabinetry. The next stage involves design, estimating, and material selection, where careful consideration is given to create a tailored solution. Finally, the process concludes with finalizing the deal, ensuring a seamless transition from concept to reality.

In our 40+ years in the industry, we’ve learned and developed a proven approach with our customers in mind. We also know that rushing our process will only hurt our customers. Below is an overview of what you can expect of the design and estimation process.
01 | Meet
Initial Showroom Consultation
When you make an appointment to consult with one of our designers, we will:
- Begin with a company overview, to dive into who we are as a company and the services we provide.
- Answer any questions you may have and get to know you better.
- Review any architectural plans or relevant documents
- Discuss your ideas and review inspiration photos to create a design profile tailored to you and your space.
- Perform a budget analysis of the project and assist you with establishing a budget for the project.
- Provide actionable items that you as the homeowner will be tasked with to ensure a timely deliverables
02 | Measure
Measure
During the measure phase at Cabinet Genies, we employ a professional scanning service that utilizes advanced Matterport technology to create a highly accurate 3D scan of your space. Skilled experts equipped with specialized cameras and laser scanning technology meticulously capture detailed imagery and precise measurements of walls, floors, ceilings, and architectural elements. This non-intrusive scanning process ensures an incredibly accurate virtual representation of your space, eliminating human error and providing our designers with precise measurements to create custom cabinetry that fits flawlessly into every aspect of your room.
Information Gathering
Our designer will use the time between the Initial Consulation and the measure to gather additional information such as appliance specifications or details on specialty products that may be being used on your proejct.
03 | Match
Design
Your designers will now create tailored layouts and renderings according to your design profile, measurements, and any additional information they have gathered.
Estimating
Our estimating team will create an initial cost analysis based on the preliminary design and material selections made.
Preliminary Review Meeting
Your designer will now schedule a preliminary in-person or virtual meeting to discuss the preliminary design and estimate.
Retainer - 2.5% of Cost Analysis
Before continuing with revisions we will require a 2.5% retainer based on the initial cost analysis.
04 | Make Deal
Material Selections Meeting
Once a retainer has been processed, we will perform a material selections meeting to finalize all cabinetry, countertops, hardware, and accessory selection for your project.
Revisions
Our design and estimating team will now proceed with finalizing all designs and preparing a formal proposal based on the notes gathered in preliminary review meeting and our material selections meeting.
Final Design/Estimate Presentation
Once the final drawings and estimate have been prepared we will schedule one final meeting to present the final concept and pricing for your project.
Formal Proposal & Acceptance
If everything has been executed to your liking we will continue with our contract signing process.
